In accordance with the commitments of the Ministry of National Education, more than 1,500 new letters of appointment intended mainly for the regularization of teachers in an irregular situation, will be distributed to the interested parties, via the 10 Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE) from this Monday, August 20, 2018.

Taking into account the 2,147 letters already distributed (distribution started in April 2018 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24124-haiti-education-beginning-of-the-process-of-regularization-of-teaching-staff.html ) these new letters of appointment will bring up to 3,700 letters to teachers working irregularly in the classroom.

Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the resigning Minister of National Education Ministry says that the efforts will continue so that the last letters pending are issued to regularize the situation of all teachers, according to the commitments of the Government and reiterates its determination to work for reform of the education sector and improvement of its governance.
