On Friday, Régine Lamur, the resigning Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, accompanied by members of her cabinet and senior Ministry officials, participated in the closing ceremony of the 3rd Summer Camp "Dadadou Chaud Show" which opened last July 23 and allowed more than 200 young people to have a good time during the summer holidays.

"Parents must be proud of the achievement of their children who have shown their potential. In just one month, they have learned to do wonders," said Minister Lamur, who visited the sports workshops and the exhibition of handicrafts by participants.

These young and very young trained to macramé, banéco (banana leaf and bark), Art Floral amazed the visitors and even made sales during the closing ceremony. Those who preferred the sport had the choice between football, basketball, volleyball, handball, "dodgeball" (balloon), and intellectual games.

"Vakans mwen se pam" ended at the Dadadou Sports Center a few days before the start of the school year (3 September). The Minister is committed to supporting young people by promising them school kits, inviting the Haitian Youth to invest in their studies to ensure a bright future.
