Haiti - FLASH : 3 former ministers reappointed in the next ministerial cabinet ?

According to several sources in the corridors of the National Palace, the next ministerial cabinet is almost ready and the policy statement of Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant has already been handed to the Head of State. This General Policy would respond to both President Moise's roadmap and the expectations of the different sectors consulted.

In addition, circulates in the Palace a persistent rumor that suggests that 3 members of the outgoing Ministerial Cabinet could be reappointed in the new Cabinet. It would be the resigning ministers : Fritz Caillot (Public Works), Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet (Education) and Pierre Simon Georges (Environment).

According to our sources, the Prime Minister could go to Parliament with his cabinet on Thursday or Friday for his General Policy statement.

However, North-West Senator Onondieu Louis, Chairman of the Special Committee for the Analysis of Documents, recalled that his Commission has still not received the documents from the ministers who will form the next ministerial cabinet, which could change the timing of the presentation of the General Policy Statement of the appointed Prime Minister.
