Speaking to new police officers, the Head of State declared "[...] Fresh policemen from this 29th promotion of the National Police of Haiti, you have chosen a profession whose motto is 'protect and serve' [...]

After 6 months of training preceded by a long process of selection, you are finally, police. As such, you will be the bulwark against anything that could shake society and undermine the values we hold.

[...] Police Officers

You are in a difficult period that requires the PNH more responsiveness, efficiency and more security to prevent acts of banditry and delinquency. You have chosen to exercise a profession that makes you a repository of public authority. By wearing your uniform, you embody this authority that the state entrusts to you. I ask you to be the scrupulous guardians and to be proud of your uniform.

The Nation expects a lot from you."

For his part, Jean Roudy Aly the Minister of Justice and Public Security has emphasized the priorities of the Céant / Moise Administration in matters of justice and promised "We will spare no effort to improve the public service of the justice. "

For his part, Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the PNH, promised to do everything possible to bring the peace of the streets, especially in the neighborhoods known as "hot" Martissant and Grand Ravine.
