Haiti - Technology : Winning projects of Hackathon innovation medias

11 teams, for a total of 44 young people participated, from September 29 to October 1, 2018, in the 6th edition of the Hackathon innovation medias of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25231-haiti-technology-registration-for-hackathon-2018.html , which aimed to promote the creation and development of innovative information products and services, in line with the evolution of technologies (including mobile) to meet the needs of populations.

Confined for 72 hours in the premises of the first Haitian technological incubator "Alpha Haiti" implanted in the complex Ciné Triomphe https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24592-haiti-technology-soon-launch-of-the-selection-competition-for-the-incubator-alpha-haiti.html these different teams had to think on the spot and present innovative media solutions / applications, with the coaching of national and international mentors.

After 3 withdrawals, 8 teams presented their project on October 1st to a jury composed of mentors, press personalities and contest partners, who after deliberation named the 3 winning projects.

Winners Project :

1 - "Diskòb": a kind of music streaming platform (prize of 4,000 US dollars)

2 - "Kaleendaa" promotes young entrepreneurs (Prize of 2,900 US dollars)

3 - "Ann Pwotejen" Utility Information Platform for Natural Disasters (prize of 1,700 US dollars).
