Haiti - Diaspora : The Prime Minister Céant Speaker of honor at the NAAHP

Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant left the country to Florida where he is to act as keynote speaker, Saturday, October 27 at the 7th Annual Conference of the National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals (NAAHP), held at Florida International University (October 25-27).

During this Conference the participants will discuss the potentialities of the Haitian diaspora and the challenges especially in terms of technology, innovation that it faces. Recall that in his declaration of General Policy, Prime Minister Céant committed to implementing a real policy of integration of the Haitian diaspora in the development of the country.

Also on Thursday, Marnatha Irene Ternier, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) also left the country to participate in the NAAHP at a roundtable discussion of leaders and decision makers on new approaches to foster investments in Haiti. During the discussions, the interlocutors will review the environment, the investment opportunities and also the relative risks.

This forum, in general, will offer the Minister Ternier the opportunity to present the outline of its action plan to professionals of the diaspora. On a more specific level, she will elaborate on the cross-cutting role of the MHAVE, the measures being implemented and planned, to promote the integration and investments of the diaspora in Haiti.
