Budget against corruption, reduced by 20%

The budget of the Superior Court of Accounts (CSC/CA) reveals that the envelope has been reduced by 20%... while the executive promises to fight against corruption... Ronald Décembre, the Minister of Economy and Finance explains that it is not the only envelope to be reduced in order to free up resources for social actions.

PetroCaribe : PM orders to cooperate

Pascal Adrien, the spokesman of the Prime Minister says that following the correspondence sent by the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes (CCS/CA) asking the Prime Minister to intervene, following the refusal of some ministries to collaborate in his investigation into the use of the PetroCaribe Funds https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26449-haiti-flash-csc-ca-unable-to-continue-investigation-on-petrocaribe-funds.html, PM Céant's spokesman, Pascal Adrien, assures that the ministers concerned have received from the Prime Minister, the formal order to bring all their collaboration to the CCS/CA.

Temporary return of lawyers at work

The lawyers of the bar of the capital finally decided unanimously to temporarily lift their strike, at an extraordinary general assembly held this Thursday, pending the arrangements to meet all their claims. This decision came about a week after the resignation of the former government commissioner, Clamé Ocnam Daméus claimed, however they continue to demand the arrest of police ofciers involved in the beating of several of their colleagues last October.

PNH : review of the operation "Mache pran yo"

Washington Embassy closed
