Following the Senate-level elections on Thursday night, the results are as follows for the members constituting the new Senate bureau in Parliament for the 2019 legislative year :

President : Carl Murat Cantave Senator of Artibonite (AAA) was elected with 16 votes out of 28, facing Senator Pierre François Sildor (12 votes), he replaces Senator Joseph Lambert. "I thank all my fellow Senators for this vote of confidence they gave me tonight that makes me the new Speaker of the Senate and the National Assembly for this legislative year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," said Carl Murat Cantave

Vice President Jean Marie Junior Salomon, Southern Senator (OPL) elected with 16 votes. He replaces Senator Pierre Francois Sildor (PHTK);

Quaestor: Onondieu Louis, Senator of the North West (KID), re-elected with 17 votes against the Northern Senator Dieudonne Luma Étienne (11 votes for against 15 white votes);

Vice-Quaestor: (new position) Gracia Delva, Senator of Artibonite (AAA), elected with 18 votes against Senator of the Central Plateau Wilfrid Gelin (9 votes);

First Secretary: Dieupie Cherub, South East Senator (KID) realu with 11 votes;

Second Secretary: Wilot Joseph, Senator of the Center (PHTK) reelected without opposition with 21votes.
