Thursday at a press conference to the Town Hall, the Mayor of Croix-des-Bouquets, Rony colin, announced that the 3rd edition of the carnival of Croix-des-Bouquets will take place on February 22, 23 and 24, 2019, around of the theme "Kwadèboukè se kè m".

Alongside the two deputy mayors Jean Jonas Saint-Juste and Mrs. Géraldine Cétoute, his Head of Cabinet Me Jacky C. Pierre, the Director General of the City Council, Jacques César and the Chairman of the Committee in charge of organizing the carnival, Bélizaire Raphaël Mayor Colin announced novelties this year.

Two great tenors of Haitian music for decades in the country, "T-Vice" and "Djakout # 1" will be the special guests at the Carnival of Croix-des-Bouquets. "Roody Roodboy", the champion at the 2018 national carnival with his meringue "ou Mechan", the root group "Koudjay" and the group of Senator Anthonio Cheramy "Brothers Posse" among others, will also assume the atmosphere on the macadam to sides of the musical groups of the Commune, DJs and walking bands.

Emphasis was also placed on the cultural, artistic and historical values ​​of the Commune, particularly through the artisans of the "Village de Noailles" who will have an allegorical float for the exhibition of their works.

In addition, in order to offer a showcase to the talents of the young graphic designers of the Commune, the Mayor announced the launch of a logo contest and encouraged those interested in removing on the Facebook page of the Town Hall and his personal Facebook page the registration form and send their work as soon as possible.

The first day of the carnival, Friday, February 22, will be devoted to the parade of disguised and masked students of the various schools of the Commune which will leave the place Marassa to arrive on the communal place Beauvais.

The other two days, February 23 and 24, the Carnival will be held in the usual format. The official route is: Carrefour Marassa, Duval road (national road #8), Calvaire crossroads, street of the République in front of the Town Hall and national road #3.
