Haiti - Politic : Reopening of the Technical School of Grand Pré

After the reopening of the École l'Espoir Mikaël Sylvestre https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9671-haiti-education-launch-of-the-2nd-promotion-of-the-school-of-hope.html , Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth, proceeded Friday, in the presence of local and departmental authorities at the reopening of the Technical School of Grand Pré (Quartier Morin, Department of the North).

These vocational training centers of the Ministry, have the mission to offer young people a trade, the training in masonry second level and computer provided by the technical school of Grand Pré, meanwhile a section of operators of heavy machinery, gives young people in northern departments the opportunity to have a job and improve their living conditions in the service of their community.

The Minister Charles is convinced that the development of the country inevitably goes through the youth and intends to encourage their involvement through training reminding young people of their duty to the country that counts on them.

As noted by the Reverend Father Jacques Marie Charles of the Catholic Church of Grand Pré, the Minister also believes that other countries are no better than ours, stressing, however, that their citizens believed in the development of their country and they began to work with determination and they obtained conclusive results "It is up to our youth to do the same to change the image of Haiti and the Ministry as part of its mission of accompaniment and supervision of young people, intends to give them the appropriate tools."

After a Mass and a parade with the new class and students, artistic and sports performances, the Minister Charles took advantage of his presence in the Great North to make an inspection visit to the Sports Parks of Ste Anne de Limonade and St Jean from Trou du Nord.
