Armed men near US staff residences

On Thursday, gunmen were seen in the area near the staff residences of the US Embassy. the Embassy has asked his staff as a precaution to avoid going out.

The General Hospital in distress

OAS Call for Dialogue

Luis Almagro, the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) met with Chancellor Bocchit Edmond to discuss the situation in Haiti and said "We call on all sectors to participate fully in the process of dialogue, to respect the democratic process and to resort to peaceful means to resolve conflicts .

The Dominican Government reassures its population
