Following the closure of the offices of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Port-au-Prince, due to protests and riots last February, IOM notifies people of certain changes that temporarily affect visas Humanitarian and family reunification.

"The extended closure of our visa application centres during the period of civil unrest in haiti has resulted in a significant backlog of our caseload of applicants to be received.

wWile we clear this backlog and as we as carryout maintenance and upgrades on our technical platforms in the coming week (march 10 to 17, 2019, the appointment booking system will be unavailable to the public.

Our websites will also be impacted intermittently by the maintenance.

Starting Tuesday, March 19, 2019, the appointment booking system will be open to the public in Haiti from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday
