Popular Justice, 2 bandits lynched

Tuesday around noon in Delmas 65, 3 armed individuals attacked and robbed a depot of food supplies. In their escape, they fired on a forest officer who was in their path, fatally wounding him. In anger, the residents caught up with two of the bandits who were trying to flee on a motorbike and stoned them to death in front of the UDMO agents passing through the area, helpless in the face of an angry mob... The third accomplice managed to escape. No arrests were reported after this act of popular justice.

3 bandits arrested in Limbé

On the night of Monday to Tuesday the National Police of Haiti has arrested three bandits in the commune of Limbé (North Dept) : Louis Jhonny (26 years) arrested for illegal possession of firearm and fake Dominican banknotes, Ronald George (38 years old), accused of drug trafficking and a third individual whose identity is not known arrested for illegal possession of firearm.

Insecurity : Jovenel Moïse passes instructions

Tuesday following a special meeting of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), President Jovenel Moïse said "After an important meeting with the highest authorities responsible for the security of the country, I gave formal instructions to take urgent measures to counter armed bandits that threaten peace in homes and public safety."
