Haiti - Economy : More than 200 «Madan Sara» of Bainet benefit from a ONAFanm loan

Saturday in Bainet (South-East Department), President Jovenel Moïse accompanied by his wife Martine, in the presence notably of the South-East Senator, Joseph Lambert, of Chesnel Pierre, the Director General of the National Old Age Insurance Office (ONA), notable and merchants and shopkeepers of Bainet, proceeded to the inauguration of an office of ONAFanm.

Remember that ONAFanm is a quick and viable solution for small informal traders in need of credit. His presence was long desired in Bainet and the positive spinoffs are already promising.

In his remarks of circumstance, the Head of State did not fail to reiterate his support to ONAFanm which continues to bring solutions to the problematic of the credit of the small merchants and those wishing to start their own company recalling "If in 2018, we have reached more than 5,000 small merchants, this year the goal of 20,000 must be achieved."

To make this office operational, President Moïse personally handed the letters of appointment to the new employees.

The satisfaction was palpable in nearly 200 women beneficiaries of a loan from ONAFanm who showed their satisfaction when for the first time in their lives, a financial institution is interested in their cause by granting them credit.
