The International Organization for Migration (IOM) informs the Haitian population that false information is circulating in the country that endangers the welfare of citizens.

"Some people are posing as IOM employees to raise funds on the pretext that IOM will come to build them a house. These fraudulent agents ask the population to pay a fee for participating in this fake program.

ATTENTION, IOM says it has no construction projects underway in Haiti and has not delegated anybody to collect money.

IOM requires you to remain vigilant against this type of fraud and to circulate this information to your neighbors and relatives. "
