Ronald Décembre, the Minister of Economy and Finance announces the opening of the call for applications of the first session of the technological incubator Alpha Haiti.

Recall that this technological incubator installed in the Ciné Triomphe complex and inaugurated in June 2018 by President Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24572-haiti-politic-moise-launches-the-technology-incubator-incubator-alpha-haiti.html , an initiative of the former President Martelly https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-16527-icihaiti-politic-towards-the-establishment-of-the-technological-innovation-incubator-centre.html aims to provide an environment conducive to the creation of start-ups, support innovative projects and training in the field of new technologies and develop the ecosystem of entrepreneurship in Haiti.

Alpha Haiti is based on three aspects :

The "Event" component, intended to popularize concepts related to technology and innovation to the general public;

The "Specialized Training" component intended to promote the scaling up of institutions and enterprises in the various economic sectors;

The "incubator" component intended to promote the emergence of technological start-ups.

The incubator allows 6 teams to benefit from an equipped and completely free workspace. For four months, from June to September 2019, personalized support will be offered to consolidate their business project to be submitted to national and international experts. These young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to strengthen their business and technology skills to foster partnerships with the public and private sectors.

This incubation program is for teams of 3 to 4 people who develop products and/or services in the technology sector, whether it is Information and Communication Technology (ICT), electronics , electromechanical or robotics between water, all themes are accepted, only innovation is required.
