Haiti - Land conflict : The municipal authorities take over the legal control of the landfill in Mouchniette

On Monday, the mayors of Cap-Haïtien, Quartier-Morin and Limonade, accompanied by legal advisers, technicians, press and members of the population of the three communes, visited the 19-hectare site under construction, of the Mouchinette waste sorting landfill, treatment and transformation of dump (commune of Limonade, North).

Remember that this project initiated 10 years ago is financed by the World Bank, the French Development Agency and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) up to 33.5 million US dollars and that 10 million have already been invested in the beginning of the work.
