Monday, August 5, in memory of Wills Joseph Thomas (56 years), Mayor of Cabaret died July 24 last https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28332-haiti-politic-passing-away-of-wills-thomas-mayor-of-cabaret.html , the Municipal Council of the Croix-des-Bouquets led by Mayor Rony Colin during a ceremony symbolically lowered the flag of Haiti.

The Town Council of Croix-des-Bouquets, as a sign of solidarity, has followed the recommendation of the National Federation of Mayors of Haiti (FENAMH) on the half-masting of our blue and red Bicolor, during the period from August 5 to 9, 2019, in all municipal governments of the country in memory of Joseph Wills Thomas.

By this act, the members of the Council intend not only to greet the memory of their deceased colleague, but also to arouse the civic sense and the love of the Fatherland among all the Cruciens.

The Council reiterates its deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased, to his colleagues from the Cabaret Municipal Council, to the people of Cabaret, to the members of FENAMH and to all those who are saddened by this unexpected departure.

A delegation of the Communal Administration of Croix-des-Bouquets should take part in the funeral scheduled for August 9th.
