Shootout in a musical night, 2 dead

Sunday evening, a little before midnight at Carrefour, more precisely at Lamentin 54, during a party where the population was having fun at the rhythm of a DJ, several shots of unidentified origin were fired in the hall where was taking place this evening killing at least two young boys and causing a freak panic. It is unknown for the moment who are the authors of these shots and their motivation. Following this aggression night clubs in the area have quickly closed their doors.

Bus accident at least 11 injured

Sunday afternoon at the Carrefour Bouette, on the #7 national road, the driver of a bus who was returning from Port-au-Prince and was heading towards Pestel, lost control of his vehicle which overturned. At least 10 wounded who were transported to the hospital Sainte Anne (Camp-Perrin, South).

"Why Haiti can succeed"

The Embassy of France in Haiti congratulates the former scholarship holder of the French Government and BRH Scholarship Program, Enomy Germain, who holds a Master's degree in Development Economics from the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, for his essay political economy "Why Haiti can succeed". His book analyzes the socio-economic situation of the country and pleads for a new political offer by innovative actors able to meet the challenges of getting Haiti out of the current situation. Football : BRH years Tournament

This weekend, the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti Jean Baden Dubois kicked off the final of the tournament marking the 40th anniversary of the BRH and the National Bank of Credit (BNC) at Quisqueya Christian School. The BRH football team won the match [5-0] against the BNC. In addition, the Gala match between the children of BRH employees and those of the BNC was won [3-2] by the children of the BNC.
