Haiti - FLASH : Meeting of the 3 powers of the State on the crisis

On Thursday, November 21, less than 24 hours after the US Ambassador to the United Nations Ambassador Kelly Dawn Knight Craft at the head of a delegation, President Jovenel Moïse convened a meeting at the National Palace of the 3 powers of the State on the socio-political crisis in Haiti.

Me René Silvestre, President of the Court of Cassation and the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), Representative Judiciary, Presidents Carl Murat Cantave (Senate) and Gary Bodeau (Chamber of Deputies) Representatives the Legislative Power were present at this meeting with the Head of State, Representative of the Executive Power.

Jovenel Moïse said he is ready for "inclusive dialogue and wants to be part of the solution," said Gary Bodeau, adding that Moïse wants to reach an inclusive political agreement by the end of the year. In addition, the humanitarian crisis and insecurity were also discussed.

Discussions between the 3 powers of the state should continue this Friday.
