Haiti - FLASH : A mysterious plane lands in disaster in St-Jean-du-Sud

On Saturday, November 23, at the end of the afternoon, a mysterious plane, a twin engine Beechcraft 200 King Air, registered "XB-PYB" made a brutal forced landing in the 3rd communal section of Saint-Jean-du-Sud.

According to information provided by an internal source of the National Office of Civil Aviation (OFNAC), this aircraft did not appear on any road map and was not in contact with the air traffic controllers in Haiti, in summary it could to be a illegal flight...

The Drug Trafficking Brigade (BLTS) has been on scene, as is the case every time a illegal plane lands or crashes in Haiti. However, nothing says that this plane was carrying drugs and the hypothesis of the transport of a commando is not to be discarded as the country goes through a violent socio-political crisis for several months...

Note that this aircraft can carry up to 9 passengers or 2.4 tons cargo cargo, its range is between 1,100 and 1,400 km.

For the moment it is still too early to have information on the origin and destination of this aircraft, the cause of the "crash", the presence or absence of passengers or goods on board, all the authorities are in silent mode focused on collect information and collect clues. The Haitian National Police opened an investigation.
