Haiti - AFRIMA 2019 : The «Manno Beats» wins the Award «Best Artist in African Electro» 24/11/2019 09:03:30
Saturday, November 23 in Lagos, Nigeria (West Africa), at the AFRIMA 2019 6th Edition of "All African Music Awards", Haitian singer, songwriter and drummer Emmanuel Pierre aka "Manno Beats" (born October 1, 1991 in Cap-Haïtien) was in nomination in the categories "Best African Act in the diaspora" and "Best Artist in African Electro".
After deliberation by the jury and Internet users "Manno Beats" was awarded the AFRIMA Award for "Best Artist in African Electro", the highest distinction for African music for his song "Akouna", while he was competing with talented artists like Mister Izi, David Ghetta and Black coffee just to name a few.
