As part of the construction of 5 Drinking Water Supply Systems (SAEP) of the Regional Office for Drinking Water and Sanitation South of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Program in Rural Areas, financed by the Bank World, Guito Édouard, Director General of the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) at the head of a delegation recently carried out a field mission in the South.

Due to the socio-political crisis in the country and the serious consequences for the smooth running of the various DINEPA projects, this mission aimed to assess the progress of the rehabilitation and construction works of the 5 SAEP in the department of the South, more particularly in the communes of Tiburon, Les Anglais, Port-à-Piment, Roche-à-Bateau and Port-Salut.

In each of the five sites visited, the delegation met with the managers of the various execution, supervision and social and environmental engineering firms.
