Lyonel Valbrun, the Secretary General of the Presidency, reminds the population in general and the media in particular that by decree dated January 6, 2015, January 12 is declared a Day of Commemoration and Reflection dedicated to the memory of the victims of the earthquake that hit Haiti hard on January 12, 2010.

Consequently, during the day of Sunday, January 12, 2020 marking the 10th anniversary of this tragedy, the national flag will be flown at half-mast, discos and other similar establishments will remain closed. Radio and television stations are invited to program programs and music appropriate.
