Rosnick Grant, President of the National Referees Commission (CONA) informs that during the 2020 season it will rejuvenate the group of referees "ELITE" by entrusting much more responsibility to the generation of the 80s and above all, by gradually integrating into D1 officials born from 1990 among those who have already reached a certain maturity through D2.

Consequently, officials born between 1965 and 1979 who can no longer meet the physical requirements imposed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) will be less and less in demand.

Officials born between 1980 and 1989 have until the end of 2020 to comply with theoretical and physical conditioning requirements. Note that CONA has already established a training program for those who wish to continue working in the supervision of the sector either as an instructor or as a referee assessor. The Commission is counting on the cooperation of all football players to help it ensure this transition in a harmonious way with the aim of seeing Haitian officials in the future win in major international competitions.

Furthermore, on behalf of FIFA and the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), CONA thanks those who proudly wore the "FIFA 2019" badge until December 31 and congratulates those who are renewed and informs them, that certain much more stringent conditions will apply in 2020
