At the foot of the monument, erected in memory of the 300,000 disappeared buried in St Christophe, the President of the Republic Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin, members of the government, parliamentarians, members of the judiciary, high ranking officers of the Haitian National Police (PNH) and the Haitian Armed Forces (FADH) and members of the diplomatic corps, laid a wreath and observed a moment of meditation.
