Haiti - NOTICE : The use of the old CNI, extended until new order

In a note, Lucmane Delile the new Minister of Justice and Public Security informs the population and the institutions concerned, that the period of use of the old National Identity Card (CIN) is extended stating that the Ministry has officially canceled its decision taken on December 31, 2019 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29658-haiti-notice-new-deadline-to-obtain-the-new-cin.html , announcing that all the old CIN cards will expire on March 31.

Consequently, both CIN cards, both old and new, are valid until new order.

In addition, Minister Delile wishes to remind everyone to "respect the social distance of 1.5m between each person, one of the simplest ways to protect yourself and to prevent the Covid-19 from contaminates you in public space. The best way to prevent the disease is to stay at home. Don't go out without need !"
