He recalled that the restrictive measures aimed at preventing the contagion and the spread of Covid-19 should in no way be diverted from their exceptional context.

To this end, Normil encourages the police offciers to put into practice a set of rules of engagement and supervisory measures throughout the emergency period, among others :

• Promote public awareness of the measures taken by the government during this exceptional period;

• Always protect yourself with a mask and gloves when patrolling and interviewing users;

• Regularly observe the hygiene measures, in particular hand washing, enacted by the texts;

• File and verbalize all the authors of minor offenses after the opinion of the government commissioner, to the effect of the continuation of the procedure after the period covered by the health emergency measures;

• Dealing with speed with any major file requiring deprivation of liberty under the direction of government commissioners;

• Alert the competent services for the care of any person (including colleagues) presenting symptoms of Covid-19, without endangering their own health...
