Monday, a hundred demonstrators including some armed and masked pretending to be "police offciers" and others in uniform grouped within the radicalized group "Phantom 509" took the streets in the capital...

Highly motivated, the "police officers" demanded, among other things, a base salary of 50,000 Gourdes and monthly fees of 25,000 Gourdes, the reinstatement of several of their colleagues and the payment of the arrears of wages of the last 2 promotion (29th and 30th) seeming to ignore the 1,967 checks given to the PNH administration on Saturday for this purpose https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30622-haiti-politic-less-than-24-hours-to-pass-from-words-to-actions.html

In Delmas where the demonstration had started, the demonstrators attacked the ONA offices (Delmas 19) smashing through the main barrier, intimidating the employees, vandalizing several vehicles and throwing tear gas in the premises... They erected barricades with private vehicles, paralyzing traffic and firing shots terrorizing the population...

In Delmas 48 and 69, protesters clashed with police in an armored vehicle. Shot, tear gas caused intense panic in the area. Two PNH armored vehicles finally dispersed the demonstrators who took the direction of the city center in the direction of the Ministry of Economy and Finance on Charles Sumner avenue.

Very motivated, they broke down the main barrier of the Ministry of the Economy using a ram vehicle before shooting at the armored vehicle of the Minister of the Economy which they burnt down as well as at least 3 other vehicles of the State on the parking lot of the Ministry, then they vandalized several offices... before dispersing without being worried by the police...
