Police abuse

Donation of 20 million from the Sogebank Foundation

As part of the fight against Covid 19 in the country, the Sogebank Foundation, donated 20 million Gourdes. 10 million will be allocated to four hospitals and 100,000 masks will be distributed across all outlets (Sogebank, Sogebel, Sogexpress and Sogesol), with the other 10 million.

PNH among the most vulnerable

A team of the Press Coordination and Public Relations of the National Police of Haiti has crisscrossed some arteries of the metropolitan region to not only raise awareness, but also and above all to distribute masks, chlorine and soap to the most vulnerable in society to combat the spread of Covid-19 on national territory.

J/P HRO alongside the disabled

A delegation from the J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO), an organization created by American actor Sean Penn, shortly after the January 2010 earthquake, visited the Office of the Secretary of State for Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) and handed over a batch of buckets for hand washing as a contribution to the preventive fight against Covid-19 carried out by the BSEIPH with persons with disabilities. The organization has renewed its commitment to collaborate with the BSEIPH and to increase its support, particularly in training around the Corona Virus pandemic.

699 beneficiaries of Food For The Poor

Wearing of the mask being mandatory and social distancing was obeserved on the campus of "Food For The Poor" where 699 beneficiaries of the nutritional recovery program each received a dry food ration for 15 days.
