Author of many educational books, a collection on civics and several novels, the former Haitian teacher and feminist activist very well known and respected Odette Roy Fombrun who was crowned "Living National Treasure" in 2009 celebrated Saturday June 13 his 103 years.

Note that Madame Fombrun has been particularly noted in recent years by her interventions and public positions in the socio-political life of Haiti.
