Oxygen Generators

The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) is in the process of providing the country's health departments with Oxygen Generators. Some of these generators are part of the medical materials and equipment ordered in China by the Haitian state as part of the fight against Covid-19. Now, the departments of Northeast and North West have their own oxygen generator, a great first in the Haitian public health sector. Other oxygen generators will be installed in other departments of the country.

Safeguarding biodiversity in Haiti

At the beginning of the month Max Attys, the Minister of Youth received at the Ranch de la Croix-des-Bouquets on July 2 his counterpart from the Ministry of the Environment Abner September in order to identify spaces at the Ranch de la Croix-des-Bouquets to be used as part of the memorandum of understanding signed on June 5, 2020 between the two ministries for the conservation of biodiversity in Haiti.

Strengthening of the management of Covid-19 cases

The Artibonite Health Department (DSA) and the Northern Health Department (DSN) continue to receive medical supplies and equipment, as part of strengthening the management of Covid-19 cases in the country.

Tourist boost in words ?

Myriam Jean the Minister of Turism declared that her Ministry is committed to working of concert with the authorities concerned and to supporting the economic recovery of the tourism sector while keeping mobilization in order to mitigate the risks of contagion of the Covid-19 pandemic.

DR helps Haitian border municipalities

As part of the fight against the spread of Coronavirus Covid-19, the Dominican Federation of Municipalities has provided health kits to 8 border municipalities, including 4 in Haiti and 4 in the Dominican Republic.

Distribution of food kits

Last week, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund mobilized its teams to distribute food kits to needy people living in several localities in the localities of Port-au-Prince, Delmas, Tabarre, Cité Soleil and Carrefour.
