Monday, July 13, Rony Colin, the Mayor of Croix-des-Bouquets Monsieur accompanied by his assistants Jean Jonas Saint-Juste and Mrs. Géraldine Jean François Cétoute, proceeded to the inauguration of the public square of Bon-Repos named "Plas Gwo Wòch"(Square of teh Big Rock), where the first stone was laid on February 6, 2019.

This infrastructure, an electoral promise of Mayor Colin, is located between the entrance to Lilavois and the national road #1 built on the site of a former landfill, this square with an area of ​​almost 3,700 m2 has a kiosk for the organization of artistic, cultural and religious activities, a multi-sports field for basketball, volleyball, mini-football, among others, with a bleacher with a capacity of approximately one hundred seats. Green spaces and a well-appointed parking space to avoid traffic jams on the main roads in relation to the activities of the square. The works were carried out by the firm Engenco under the supervision of the town hall.

Recall that the laying of the first stone took place on February 6, 2019. However, due to socio-political unrest the work could not be completed sooner.
