Haiti - Education : The President Martelly encourages the respect for the flag

President Michel Martelly, today participated in the flag raising on the lawn of the National Palace, accompanied by Mario Andresol, Director General of National Police of Haiti, Mayors of Carrefour and Delmas, respectively Yvon Jerome and Wilson Jeudy and several delegations of school children of the metropolitan area.

By this ceremony, the Head of State, which makes of the education, civic virtue and youth mentorship, one of the major objectives of his Presidency, intends to revive the cult of the national flag, which must regain its place in our everyday lives.

After the rise of color, the President Martelly had an open dialogue with students in the gardens of the palace, he encouraged them to pursue their studies to meet their obligations to the nation. The President Martelly has offered a breakfast to the participants followed by a photo session with these young.
