The Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) informs those responsible for travel agencies, as well as applicants using the services of these agencies to apply for a passport, that the application form to be completed from said agencies with the applicant's information is still applicable and available.

However, in accordance with the notice of the DIE and the Ministry of the Interior, dated August 20, 2020, any applicant must, once the preliminary formalities have been fulfilled at the level of the agencies, come personally to one of the Offices of the DIE on the national territory, for the formalities related to the capture of fingerprints, the taking of a photo compatible with the system and the signature of the requested travel document.

The DIE takes this opportunity to remind that the jurisdiction of travel agencies does not go beyond the limits of national territory. It also relies on the understanding and diligence of all those concerned to comply from 1 September 2020 with these provisions which meet the international standards and recommendations in force, with regard to the personalization of travel documents.
