Following the assassination of Me Monferrier Dorval, the President of the Port-au-Prince Bar Association on August 28 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-31661-icihaiti-pelerin-5-assassination-of-the-president-of-the-bar-of-port-au-prince.html , the Office of Criminal Affairs (BAC) submitted its investigation report to Me Gabriel Ducarmel, Commissioner of the Government of Port-au-Prince, in which it is written "the named Modelet Sénégeau, aka "Abidy", Mackender Fils-Aimé, Dunès Vilpique alias "Jah ", Markenson Charles" aka "Cobra", Gerson Laurent aka "TiLuc or Louko", Richelet Augustin, Johnny Toussaint and others joined together as criminals to assassinate citizen Monferrier Dorval, President of the Bar of Port-au-Prince."

It should be noted that the investigation determined that Richelet Augustin and Johnny Toussaint were at the victim's home at the time of the murder and that they are suspected of being the murderers of Me Dorval.

Investigators are continuing their research to identify anyone else involved in this assassination. In the meantime, Modelet Sénégeau, Mackender Fils-Aimé, Valéry Dor, Dunès Vilpique have been brought to justice.

The BAC suggests that warrants be issued against Markenson Charles, Gerson Laurent, Richelet Augustin and Johnny Toussaint for their alleged involvement in this crime.

The Government Commissioner forwarded the file to the investigating cabinet where, according to our information, it would be Me Renord Regis who would be responsible for investigating this case.
