On Tuesday, Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe went to the Senate of the Republic to receive the last two parts of the PetroCaribe report. "It is an honor to have been in the Senate of the Republic this afternoon to receive from the senators the second and third report on the management of the PetroCaribe funds submitted by the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation.

Ministries and public institutions, which managed the PetroCaribe funds, were instructed to provide explanations. I promise to continue working with loyalty for the Haitian people.

I will continue to have a very good relationship with the Senate, which I pledge to treat with reverence," said Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe.

However, the PM did not indicate whether he intended to transmit the reports to the Minister of Justice who would transfer them to the government commissioner as former Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant had done with the 1st report. However, he intends to make its own assessment of the reports specifying that it has already set up a task force for this purpose.
