Haiti - Diaspora : Message from the Embassy of Haiti in Washington

Given the restrictions put in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Embassy of Haiti in Washington D.C. remains closed to the public. However, consular services are available remotely. Only emergency cases will be considered on site, provided that an appointment has been obtained.

To arrange an appointment, please call 202 332-4090 or email cons.wash@diplomatie.ht

Wearing a mask is compulsory within the establishment.

To initiate the passport application process, the person concerned must submit all documents by mail or email. In addition, you will need to provide a telephone number, a postal address, and an email address.

It should be noted that due to the large number of requests, passport requests may take longer than usual to be processed.

To submit a passport application, please send an email to cons.wash@diplomatie.ht

The Embassy reiterates its commitment to provide consular services to the Haitian community and friends of Haiti in the United States and takes the opportunity to urge the public to follow the established mode of operation, as well as to continue to respect the instructions and recommendations from health authorities for the protection of all.
