Haiti - Politic : An annex of the ONI at Toussaint Louverture Airport for the diaspora

Tuesday, November 24, Louis Edner Gonzague Day, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), in collaboration with the National Identification Office (ONI) opened an annex of the ONI at the Ministry kiosk of Toussaint Louverture International Airport.

This ONI annex will exclusively serve the Haitian Diaspora. From now on, compatriots of the Diaspora arriving from abroad (regardless of the passport they hold) and who want to obtain their Unique National Identification Card, can go to the Ministry's Kiosk at Toussaint Louverture Airport for obtaining this document.

You just need to be in possession of your original Haitian documents such as : Birth certificate or Extract from the National Archives of Haiti or Legalized baptismal certificate.

For married women, wishing to have other than their maiden name on the Unique Identification Card, they must have as proof the legalized marriage certificate, if the act is not a document from the Haitian Civil status.
