Thursday, December 17, 2020, following information informing of the presence of a shipment of weapons of war arrived in Haiti, agents of the Office for the Fight against Narcotics Trafficking (BLTS) of concert with customs agents, proceeded to the search of a sealed container stored at Port Lafiteau.

With the help of specially trained dogs, they discovered, concealed in loudspeakers, 8 assault rifles, 3 revolvers, about twenty magazines, several boxes of ammunition and a rifle scope among others...

The owner of this container, Kettia Louis, remains to be found until now and the authorities have not provided any information on the origin of these illegal weapons and their destination, only to say that an investigation was opened.
