To control the spread of Covid, the Cuban authorities have decided to reduce the frequencies of flights from the United States and Mexico, Panama, the Bahamas, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, from January 1, 2021. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32642-haiti-flash-reduction-of-flights-to-cuba.html

As a result, Sunrise Airways flights authorized by Cuban authorities are Haiti-Santiago-Haiti only Wednesdays from January 6 to February 24, 2021 (until further notice). All other scheduled flights are canceled until new information is received.

Information for passengers :

Passengers who have a ticket to or from Santiago have priority on these flights and may be protected subject to availability.

Passengers from Habana, Camaguey and Holguin whose return flight to Cuba is affected, can be protected only to Santiago de Cuba subject to flight availability, 3 days before flight departure (a waiting list will be processed by the reservations center)

Passengers who have purchased their ticket for any future travel to or from Cuba (Habana Camaguey and Holguin) on a canceled flight will be re-booked without penalty and without time limit as soon as Sunrise Airways can reschedule flights to those provinces.

Passengers on Habana Camaguey and Holguin flights whose journeys have not yet started cannot be protected on flights from Santiago.

To avoid wasting time and interrupting check-in operations, do not go to the airport if your flight is not confirmed. You must first contact our reservation center to reorganize your trip according to the established rules.

IMPORTANT :

All passengers entering Cuba must undergo a negative PCR test 72 hours before their flight departs. Upon arrival, local authorities may conduct additional testing.
