This Thursday, June 30 and Friday, 1 July 2011, the President Michel Martelly will be in St. Kitts & Nevis to participate in the Summit of Heads of State of CARICOM. He will deliver the opening message of the summit and will take advantage of the opportunity to meet with other leaders in order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Haiti and other Caribbean nations.

On July 7, the President will leave the country to Europe to meet, among others, in Madrid with the Spanish Prime Minister, José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and the King Juan Carlos. Discussions will focus on the Spanish aid to Haiti and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries. The President will also meet with European businessmen interested to invest in Haiti, to encourage and ensure them an environment conducive to business.
