2 kidnappings per day

No less than 60 cases of kidnappings have been identified during the month of January 2021 across the country, informs the center for analysis and research in human rights revealed Me Gédéon Jean , Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Research in Human Rights (CARDH).

UEH : Complaint for corruption

Thursday morning, Me Hans Ludwig Joseph, Director General of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) met with the Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH), Dr Fritz Deshommes regarding a complaint filed against certain officials of the School of Law and Sciences suspected of corruption. An investigation will be launched to determine the merits of the alleged corruption facts.
