There were 4.28 million internet users in Haiti in January 2021.

The number of Internet users in Haiti increased by 600,000 thousand (+ 16%) between 2020 and 2021.

Haiti's internet penetration rate was 37.3% in January 2021.

Social media statistics :

There were 2.30 million social media users in January 2021.

The number of social media users in Haiti increased by 300,000 (+ 15%) between 2020 and 2021.

The number of social media users in Haiti was equivalent to 20.0% of the total population in January 2021.

Mobile connections :

There were 7.37 million mobile connections in Haiti in January 2021.

The number of mobile connections in Haiti increased by 220,000 (+ 3.1%) between January 2020 and January 2021.

The number of mobile connections in Haiti in January 2021 was equivalent to 64.3% of the total population.

Note : Many people have more than one mobile connection, so the numbers for mobile connections can exceed 100% of the total population.

There were 8.16 million internet users in the Dominican Republic in January 2021.

The number of internet users in the Dominican Republic increased by 80,000 (+ 1.0%) between 2020 and 2021.

The Internet penetration rate in the Dominican Republic was 74.8% in January 2021.

There were 7 million social media users in January 2021.

The number of social media users in the Dominican Republic increased by 600,000 (+ 9.4%) between 2020 and 2021.
