Léon Charles the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), informs that legal proceedings have been launched against the members of the terrorist group "Phantom 509" who continue to sow mourning in the police camp https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33303-haiti-flash-shooting-between-phantom-509-and-the-pnh-2-police-officers-killed.html and the population ensuring that "[...] the police will track down, on befhalf of law and order, with the utmost rigor those criminals who believe they can act with impunity."

Léon Charles took the opportunity to announce the immediate dismissal of the institution, of all the police officers identified and linked to the "Phantom 509" group and that they will be arrested, for usurpation of title, all those who continue to wear the uniform of the PNH, after their dismissal.

In addition, Rockefeller Vincent, the Minister of Justice and Public Security affirms that formal instructions have been passed to the authorities concerned to "take all the necessary measures as of right, in order to identify and crack down with the utmost rigor against these enemies of the Fatherland who attack public and private property, the symbols of the State and the Haitian National Police [...] Instructions were passed to the High Staff of the PNH to dismantle this terrorist group and also to research their source of criminal funding and, if applicable, their white-collar manipulators."

As a first measure, the PNH launched an Wantes NOTICE against 8 police officers active members of the group "Phantoms 509" : Jean Elder LUNDI (inspector and coordinator of the union of the PNH: SPNH-17), Abelson GROS NEGRE, Jeanty ANGELO, Alexandre PASCAL, John NAZAIRE, Rodzel ST-HILAIRE, Lundner LOUIS and Dario ANTOINE.

They are accused of assassinations, attempted assassinations, endangering the internal security of the state and destroying public and private property.

The PNH asks the population if one or more of these police officers is identified or located, to call 3838-1111 and 3106-0573
