Soto said the transfer of Martine Moïse to the United States or the Dominican Republic to continue medical assistance was being analyzed due to her serious condition.

The Haitian embassy in Santo Domingo also clarified during a press conference that has just taken given by Ambassador Smith Augustin place that the Haitian first lady, Martine Moise, is not deceased.

The Embassy has indicated that Martine Moïse has stable vital signs. It added that there is a medical plane at Port-au-Prince airport to take Martine Moïse abroad to receive medical care.
