Following a mission to Haiti with the Vice Rector to the science policy of the AUF, M. A. Lellou, a joint action was conducted with the University Quisqueya, at the request of the Rector M. J. Lumarque. 20 people have been selected following to a call for candidates, to attend a summer school for a period of one week, in entrepreneurship.

The guiding principle of this summer school was the awareness module to the creation of business, module digitized and at distance created by the Institut de la Francophonie for the Entrepreneurship (IFE) and made ​​available to member institutions of the AUF. This module digitized allows participants to be autonomous in their learning and to practice the collaborative work, essential skills to the entrepreneur, but also useful to every citizen.

The objective of this module was to make discover to students which are at the end of their study (but also to other publics) that the creation of business is a process open to all, from the moment that we have a business idea and the motivation to achieve it. This module was not to learn how to develop a business plan, technical document for which you can get help. The essential element focused on the business idea and its transformation into a business opportunity that only the entrepreneur can determine.

After this week of training, the five groups formed initially have defended before a jury of entrepreneurs and academics, their business opportunity and received a certificate under the joint signature of the University Quisqueya and the IFE. The success of this summer school encourages the colleagues to quickly renew the experience and eventually to generalize it to all students.

Finally, this action is likely to be prolonged and deepen by a sustainable partnership in all fields of the entrepreneurship between the IFE and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation that will create the Quisqueya University.
