Less than 3 days after the official notification to the Head of State, of the rejection of the former Prime Minister-designate, Me Bernard Gousse, the President of the Senate, Rudolph Joazile, the President Martelly and his team start to think about the designation of the next candidate for Prime Minister's Office, said Thierry Mayard Paul, the Chief of Staff of Martelly, who deplores the rejection of Me Bernard Gousse, a suitable candidate who possessed all the qualities required for this position.

"The President Martelly has not yet undertaken to consult directly the Presidents of both branches of parliament around the choice of a new personality" said the Chief of Staff "The discussion focuses on several names" avoiding to provide clues on the future candidates, he stressed that the choice of a Prime Minister is a difficult exercise "given the fact that it can still be rejected by Parliament."
