Towards a declaration of a state of emergency ?

According to rumors circulating in the corridors of the National Palace, the Government is preparing to declare a state of emergency in Haiti accompanied by a curfew.

American justice : A first for a Haitian

The American of Haitian origin Markenzy Lapointe was appointed Thursday, September 15 Prosecutor for the Southern District of Florida by President Joe Biden. If ratified by the Senate, Lapointe who was raised in Haiti will become the first African-American to hold this position in Florida.

The private residence in Soisson, of the Minister of Planning, Ricard Pierre, was attacked by individuals under the name of protesters. At least 1 dead and several wounded during this attack. The victims come from the Thomassin 48 area.
