Pétion-ville The owners of Émile Market murdered

Saturday evening, November 26, unidentified armed individuals attacked the owners of Émile Market, in Pétion-ville: Foiad Abed (Father) and Foiad Abed Junior (son). In the attack both were fatally shot and passed away in hospital.

The daughter of Me Reynold Georges attacked

On Monday, Sara Hélène Georges, the daughter of Me Reynold Georges accompanied by a security guard in her car, was the victim of an attempted kidnapping. She was shot and wounded on the road to brothers. Me Reynold Georges clarified that his daughter was hit in the arm but that she was out of danger. His security guard was also shot in the back.

34.33% of schools open (up)

According to the Ministry of National Education on Monday, November 28, 34.33% of schools were operating throughout the national territory, i.e. 68% more than last November 24 (20.39% https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-38219-icihaiti-education-the-number-of-schools-operating-increased-by-2115-in-48-hours.html ). 90% of schools in operation belong to the private sector.
